"Normal" Periods.
By definition, a normal period should last around five to seven days and have an interval of 25 to 31 days [1]. But that’s not always the case - especially when you just got yours. When you just got one, it may be long and short- you can have your next one as close to a week from as far as three years. It can be just a tiny spot or a huge flow- and that’s why tracking is so important. Tracking can allow you to recognize patterns in your period- and if you notice any irregularities, you can show the actual data to your doctor and let them analyze it. But keep in mind that the first few years that you get your period- it can be super irregular- and that’s normal.
